Technical troubleshooting
My QR code leads to a 404 page
The destination URL configured in the platform is empty or incorrect. To fix:
- Log in to app.getinside.media.
- Open the relevant campaign → Configuration tab.
- Check the "Redirect URL" field and save.
The update is instant — no need to reprint.
I cannot boost the Instagram post
The "Allow partner to boost" box was not checked during publication. To fix:
- Go to the Instagram post → 3 dots → Edit.
- Verify that the "Paid partnership" label is active.
- Verify that the "Allow brand partner to boost" option is enabled.
I cannot activate TikTok Spark Ads
The advertising authorisation was not generated from the distributor's TikTok account. To obtain the code:
- On TikTok: Account Settings → Creator → Ad Settings.
- Enable "Ad authorisation".
- Click "Generate a code" — valid for 60 days.
- Send the code to getinside via the campaign messaging.
Without this code, the campaign cannot be launched from the TikTok Business Center.
The image in my newsletter is not displaying
Check the following:
- Is the image link in
https? (required) - Is the image hosted on a publicly accessible server?
- Does the image size respect the 150 KB maximum?
Quick test: open the image URL in a private browsing tab. If it does not load, the problem is with the hosting.
Logistics management
I received the inserts early — can I start distribution?
No, not without the advertiser's go-ahead. Starting earlier than planned can cause problems if the landing page is not yet live or if the campaign conflicts with another offer currently running. Notify the advertiser via messaging before taking any action.
The flyers arrived damaged — what should I do?
Act within 24 hours:
- Take clear photos of the damaged boxes.
- Note specific reservations on the delivery slip.
- Send photos and delivery slip to logistique@getinside.fr.
Do not distribute damaged materials.
I received more or fewer flyers than expected
Insufficient quantity: report it immediately to the advertiser and getinside via the campaign messaging.
Surplus: this is normal. Industrial printing generates variations regulated by Article 38 of the Code of practices of the graphic industry (UNIIC):

Distribute the surplus if possible (budget unchanged, additional volume = bonus for the advertiser). If insertion is not possible, redirect to recycling.
I received a few damaged boxes — do I need to block the campaign?
Not necessarily. Damage below 1% of the delivered volume is considered non-blocking: photograph, note reservations on the delivery slip, isolate damaged materials, and start distribution on the remaining stock.
Major damage (> 1% of volume)
If damage exceeds 1% or if materials do not comply with the validated proof, suspend insertion and contact logistique@getinside.fr before any distribution.

Data & GDPR
An advertiser is asking for my recipients' addresses — can I share them?
No. This request is not permitted, even if the advertiser insists.
Your customer data is a First Party asset that belongs exclusively to you. File transfer is prohibited without a new specific opt-in (GDPR). getinside operates as a Trusted Third Party: the advertiser's message is routed to your audience without the data ever leaving your secure environment. Refer any such request to support@getinside.fr.
What are the CSR commitments for printing?
Our printing partners are Imprim'vert certified, ISO 9001/14001 certified, and use FSC paper. Manual assembly (e.g., samples) is carried out by Adapted Enterprises (EA) promoting employment of workers with disabilities.
Security & anti-fraud
How does getinside verify declared volumes?
The platform cross-references your weekly declarations against actual performance (QR code scans, clicks). In the event of a major discrepancy, an alert is raised. Three control mechanisms are applied:
- "Mystery shopper" campaigns: anonymous orders may be placed to physically verify the presence of the insert in the parcel.
- Loading proof: getinside may ask you for a photo or video of your stock or packaging line.
- Fraud penalties: any proven fraudulent declaration results in non-payment, an immediate drop in the Score Distributeur, and may give rise to a financial penalty set out in the Terms of Use.
Design & creation
Which software should I use to create my visuals?
Adobe Illustrator (vector), Photoshop (raster, 300 DPI) and InDesign (page layout) are recommended. Any software capable of exporting PDF/X CMYK is accepted: Affinity Publisher, Canva Pro, etc.
Can getinside create my visuals?
Yes. The Creative Studio produces your flyers, emails or banners for a flat fee of 550€ HT per campaign. Contact: studio@getinside.fr
How do I measure the ROI of my campaign?
getinside does not place a pixel on your site. Attribution relies on two complementary levers:
- Unique promo code: create a code specific to the campaign (e.g.,
THANKS20). - UTM links: configure the QR code URL with UTM parameters (e.g.,
utm_source=parcel-insert) to track traffic in Google Analytics.
